Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of signalmonitor.app (the "Service"), operated by Alteox S.à r.l. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

signalmonitor.app monitors HLS streams by playing them from worker locations and reporting playback, delivery and availability metrics. We may change, improve or discontinue features over time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. You must be authorised to monitor the streams you add.

3. Workers

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to run our worker software solely to test streams from your own locations and report to the Service. You must not modify, redistribute or repurpose it.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not monitor streams you have no right to access, or use the Service to infringe others' rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Do not use the free playground to probe hosts you do not control or to circumvent its limits.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the Service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profit arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg, and the courts of Luxembourg have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.
